The Festival of European Photocopy
The Festival of European Photocopy 'ffe', is the copy of a
festival that does not exist but that through the reproduction of a surface is
manifested in space and time. skips the toner, paper jam occurs, a flashing red
signal indicates that something is not working, is out of control. But nothing
stops, this system is not fed with sheets of paper but with the ideas and
the repetition becomes the affirmation on a larger scale of an intention.
Accessible to all. Because the opera is already in itself a replica of the
original, the first, the second, the third, the fourth, ..., and in the exact
moment when the paper comes out of the slot it becomes public domain, like
a image posted on the web. Billed as a festival in black and white, 'ffe' in a
moment of great tension, economic, cultural and political, invites the
community to rewrite a story, starting from a blank sheet of paper and the
strength of utopia.

Developed in various locations, 'ffe' has invited international artists to confront with a relatively modern system of reproduction but in decline. The exhibitions curated by Yuri Degola, Antonio Grulli and Andrea Sassi are open from 3rd to 5th May from 10 am to 21 pm and can be visited every weekend until 2nd June. Festival evropske fotokopije 'FFE ", je „kopija“ festivala koji zapravo “ne postoji“ već se kroz reprodukcije površina manifestuje u prostoru i vremenu.
Preskakanje tonera, zaglaviljivanje papira i treperavi crveni signal ukazuju da nešto nije u redu, da ne radi i da je van kontrole. Ali ništa se ne zaustavlja -ovaj sistem se hrani papirima, i idejama a ponavljanje postaje afirmacija u većem obimu od namere. Dostupna svima.
Pošto je ovakav rad već samo po sebi replika originala, prvi put, drugi put, treći, četvrti, ..., a u momentu kada papir izlazi iz otvora postaje javno dobro, poput slika postavljenih na Internetu. Izgrađena kao festival u crno-beloj tehnici, "FFE" u trenutku velikih tenzija, ekonomski, kulturni i politički, poziva zajednicu da prepravi priču, počevši od praznog lista papira i snage utopije.
